                          How to Properly Take Care of Your Apparel

Using the best quality products is only one piece of the puzzle, these garments require special care when it comes to washing and drying in order to keep them looking as good as the day you got them year in and year out! Below are our recommended tips and tricks to keeping your embroidered and other custom goods looking top quality for years to come!

  • The best way to care for your garments is to hand wash and allow to air dry.
  • We understand that hand washing takes time and is not always an option, so if machine washing is needed here are our recommendations:
  • Turn the item inside out to protect the embroidery.
  • Water must always be on a cold temperature setting never warm or hot water which can distort the embroidery design.
  • Try your best not to wash your embroidered items with other clothing that has zippers or buttons that could potentially snag and harm your design.
  • Choose a mild easy on fabric detergent.
  • We only recommend air drying embroidered garments. Utilizing a machine dryer can harm and distort the thread in the design as well as shrinking.
  • When ironing your embroidered garments make sure never to put the iron directly over the design itself and place a cloth over top of the design to protect it.
  • Never use bleach or any other harmful cleaners which can cause running of embroidery color.
  • In order to protect the logo either printed or embroidered on the garment it is best practice to hang them in your wardrobe but if folding is needed please ensure you do not fold the garment through the logo causing creases and possible damage.
